Pride Up Your School! – Perspectives Into LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Education

Welcome to join this workshop by Nyyti ry’s QueerMieli and Helsinki Pride Community’s Sense of Belonging -projects’ to explore how we can build safer and more inclusive study experiences for LGBTQIA+ students!

The session features findings from the QueerMieli project’s survey on minority stress and best practices from the Sense of Belonging project. The students’ voice is represented by student association Queerpolia. After these introductions, participants will engage in small-group discussions to share ideas and solutions for more queer-safe learning environments. This event is in Finnish. Staff will provide summaries in English and Swedish upon request.
