Nyyti ry’s online groups offer peer support among students, explore new perspectives, and search for solutions together. The groups are free of charge and open to all adult students through advance registration. Some group activities are also more specifically targeted at certain participant groups. The groups operate according to Nyyti ry’s Priciples for Safer Space and specific group rules. All of our English-language groups are published on this page.

You can participate in Finnish- and/or Swedish-language groups if you can manage in that language and you belong to the target group of the activity.

  • Welcome to join English-speaking online group: Introducing mindfulness. This short 3-week group (20.5.-3.6.2026) gives you a gentle introduction to mindfulness and how it can support your wellbeing in everyday student life. Many students struggle with concentration, sleep, pressure, loneliness or feeling overwhelmed. Mindfulness offers simple, practical skills to help you meet these challenges with more clarity, balance and kindness.

LGBTQIA+ in Higher Education peer support sessions are an ideal place to discuss about experiences of minority stress as an LGBTQIA+ student and share your heart and mind with others. Student life can be hard but let us all enjoy it with while it lasts – while spreading love and acceptance around us!
