  • This training was organized the last time on 6 March 2026 in Finnish, and in 2025 in English.  No further open trainings for staff within higher education are planned within the project, however you may reach out to ask for the possibility to arrange a tailored training, anders.hulden@nyyti.fi.

What and for whom?

Our training for personnel in higher education increases awareness of minority stress; discriminatory structures fueling it and its effects on students’ well-being. We will look into ways to promote inclusion and non-discrimination in teaching and student services.

The three-hour trainings also include discussions in smaller groups and a break. The training is conducted by Project Manager Anders Huldén.

“Thank you very much for the rewarding training!”
“It was nice to hear experiences from other universities in the group discussions. The trainer clearly has a lot of knowledge and it was a pleasure to listen to him.”
“Very rewarding and interesting training, which was carried out with high quality!”

Note! We foremostly offer these open trainings held online. Should your community need a training on promting LGBTIQA+ students’ equality and mental health, but you wish a more tailored session: please get in touch and let us see if it could be arranged!
