Are you interested in supporting students in the face of the environmental crisis and an uncertain future? Do you need tools for discussing these topics? Do you want to strengthen students’ resilience, mental health and sense of community in the midst of the turmoil of the world?

Come and invite your colleagues to the free The Eco-Crisis, Our Future and Mental Health -introductory training!

The training is free of charge and will be conducted via Zoom. The training will admit 30 participants.

To Whom?

The training is intended for the staff of both higher education institutions and other educational institutions!

Training Content

In this training, you will

  • learn about emotions and thoughts related to the environment and the future, as well as their significance in studies and in students’ lives
  • explore the Eco-Crisis, Our Future and Mental Health online course (English version to be published shortly) and how to use it
  • have the chance to reflect on and share thoughts on how to deal with environmental and future emotions in higher education institutions and educational institutions, as well as try out exercises that support this.

The training will be held twice during the autumn, once in Finnish and once in English, each consisting of two morning-long training days. The schedule is designed to enable deeper learning and to allow participants to focus on the subject without rushing.

The training will be held remotely on Zoom. The trainers are Sini Forssell and Hanna Rintala, specialists in the Eco-Crisis, Our Future and Mental Health project.
