How to Apply as a Coach for NyytiCoaching
We organize NyytiCoaching programs once per semester. The application for coaches for the Spring 2026 NyytiCoaching program is currently open.
NyytiCoaching is carried out on a pro bono basis, meaning that coaches participate in a voluntary role and coaching is free of charge for students. Coaches are required to have at least 60 hours of ICF and/or EMCC-accredited coach training and practical experience in coaching work.
What Is NyytiCoaching about?
The goal of NyytiCoaching is to support higher education students in transitioning to working life and in clarifying their personal direction. It is an individual coaching program where a coach helps students clarify their goals and opportunities as they approach the threshold of entering the workforce.
The coaching process includes three meetings (60 minutes each) between the coach and the coachee, which are mainly conducted online. Meetings are scheduled approximately every two weeks. Pre- and interim assignments can also be used to support the work.
NyytiCoaching is intended for students in the final stages of their studies at universities of applied sciences, universities, and for doctoral candidates throughout Finland. Coaching is offered in Finnish, Swedish, and English. The program is coordinated by Nyyti ry and is carried out in close collaboration with the founders of the initiative, professional coaches Inkeri Ruuska and Hanna-Kaisa Lindfors, as well as the nationwide network of professional coaches.
